We can offer you a range of activities and events and meetings designed to entertain you, challenge you, introduce you to new friends and help us to help our membership – all designed to get you out and about.
As a member of Ballymoney u3a you can enjoy:
- Meeting others with similar interests and making new friends
- Taking part in activities (revisit old hobbies/find new ones)
- Listening to speakers of interest at our Monthly Meetings
- Enjoying entertainment/refreshments at meetings
- Attending “days out”, and other events
Our meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month with a visiting speaker. Refreshments are served from 10.15 am – 10.45 am with the meeting commencing at 11 am.
Our activities include: Archery, Art, Bridge, Computer Technology, Creative Writing, Environment, Family/Local History, Gardening, Golf, Photography, Reading Group and Story Telling.
Our social activities and events include: Coffee-Catch-Up, Out-to-Lunch, Movie-Goers, Days out, Christmas lunch.
SESSION 2023-2024 - June 2024 ends our Activities, Monthly Tuesday Meetings and Events for this session. NB: Queries re: Membership or Activities will be responded to during the summer months. SESSION 2024-2025 NEW MEMBERS, and RETURNING MEMBERS are welcome to join us at REGISTRATION DAYS - TUESDAY 13 and 20 AUGUST from 10.30 am until 11.30 am (times to be confirmed). Venue is The Connect Centre, Model Road Ballymoney
