We can offer you a range of activities and events and meetings designed to entertain you, challenge you, introduce you to new friends and help us to help our membership – all designed to get you out and about.
As a member of Ballymoney u3a you can enjoy:
- Meeting others with similar interests and making new friends
- Taking part in activities (revisit old hobbies/find new ones)
- Listening to speakers of interest at our Monthly Meetings
- Enjoying entertainment/refreshments at meetings
- Attending “days out”, and other events
Our meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month with a visiting speaker. Refreshments are served from 10.20 am – 10.50 am with the meeting commencing at 11 am.
Our activities include: Archery, Art, Bridge, Computer Technology, Creative Writing, Environment, Family/Local History, Gardening, Golf, Photography, Reading Group and Story Telling.
Our social activities and events include: Art, Bridge, Coffee-Catch-Up, History, Line Dancing, Reading, Out-to-Lunch, Movie-Goers, Days out to places of interest, Christmas lunch.
The Annual General Meeting of Ballymoney u3a will take place on Tuesday 6th May 2025 at 11 am in the Connect Centre, 2-10 Model School Road, Ballymoney. Entertainment to follow by "Scad The Beggars" .
