We can offer you a range of activities and events and meetings designed to entertain you, challenge you, introduce you to new friends and help us to help our membership – all designed to get you out and about.
As a member of Ballymoney u3a you can enjoy:
- Meeting others with similar interests and making new friends
- Taking part in activities (revisit old hobbies/find new ones)
- Listening to speakers of interest at our Monthly Meetings
- Enjoying entertainment/refreshments at meetings
- Attending “days out”, and other events
Our meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month with a visiting speaker. Refreshments are served from 10.20 am – 10.50 am with the meeting commencing at 11 am.
Our activities include: Art, Bridge, Computer Technology, Creative Writing, Family/Local History, Gardening, Golf, Reading Group, Walking Rugby, Yoga and Tai Chi.
Our social activities and events include: Coffee-Catch-Up, Out-to-Lunch, Days out to places of interest and Christmas lunch.
u3a MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS dates for 2026 2027 - Tuesday 4/Wednesday 5 August 10 am to 12 noon at Connect Centre, Model Road, Ballymoney. NEW MEMBER REGISTRATIONS - New members can also join up on these dates. Sarah and team will be there to assist you! FIRST MONTHLY MEETING WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY 1 SEPTEMBER 2026 . Refreshments available prior to the meeting (from 10.20 to 10.50 am). Meeting start time 11 am.
